Interest received shown in SA Tax Returns

Interest received shown in SA Tax Returns

Could I ask all clients to be careful to provide us with full and complete information on interest received on bank accounts and similar for their tax returns. Whilst this may seem trivial and the amounts are generally small, HMRC already have this information as they receive it directly from the banks, but they are using incorrect information in the tax return as a reason to start an enquiry.

So it is important that you do provide full & complete information no matter how small the amounts.
